Welcome To My Little Corner Of This Den

Not sure why I thought to do this site other than the fact that it has been a nice distraction from the day to day events at times.  As I continue to find time I'll try to work on this site a little more and continue to add and change things.

With family, work and school, some times it is difficult to find time to do things that I enjoy doing.  I'm not complaining as I have been blessed with these things, it's just that some times it is nice to have a little "me" time, too!

There are a lot of points of interest for me but with my schedule in life I'm often limited to what I do so I tend to spend a lot of time at my computer both for work and for my own enjoyment. My links page reflects this.

What? Who? Me?

A typical day? Is there such a thing? During the week I go to school during the day then head into work.  The good thing is that I take classes at the same place that I work at.  The bad thing is that some days that means that at that building from 9am until after 11pm.  I usually don't make it home until close to Midnight, but that's ok as the highways are less hectic at that time of night.

I've never been one to go to bed at a "decent time" so I am usually up until at least 2 or 3 in the morning.  "Dad Fox" and "Papa Fox" are normally up during this time so we tend to pack together and catch up with the days events.

In the morning, before he heads into school, the "Pup" and I try to get an agenda for that day.  He's discovered that email at school is a good way to keep in touch as well as phone calls once he's made it home again.  I've been fortunate to maintain a very good relationship with him, even during this "adult" transformation.

The Weekend!

Working until 8pm on Friday's tends to put a crimp into the start of my weekend, but that's ok as quitting time draws near it gives me something else to look forward to.  Before heading home I usually make a very special stop to pick up Danelle for the weekend.  Saturday's are spent cleaning, playing and learning (teaching new things for Danelle while Justin and I study and do homework).  Saturday night I usually get to go out and do the dart thing for a couple of hours.  Sunday starts with church services then brunch.  As the afternoon draws to a close John and I usually take Danelle back home to her mom as he and I head off for our Dart league that evening.
